Our Full Color Ricoh Digital Presses can print up to 40,000 plus pages an hour at an astounding 1200 DPI (That's well over a 300 line screen!) All of the bindery work, including UV Coating, is done in house, so we control every aspect of your project and are not dependent on anyone else to get your project completed.

Which Binding Option Is Right For You?

Saddle Stitching:

Saddle Stitching is the most common binding method used for most news-stand booklets/magazines today. It involves printing on double wide paper, folding in half and then stitching twice using wire (essentially custom made staples). This method is very quick, effective, with wire formed into staples. We provide finished Full Bleed booklets at no additional cost assuming your file provides proper bleed allowance.

Perfect Binding:

Perfect Binding is the binding method used in paper-back books. It offer's a squared spine, that is printable (we don't suggest printing words on the spine until the thickness is .15" or greater). This is a great choice for those wanting a "higher class" feel to their booklets. We do want you to know that Perfect Binding is NOT the best choice if you are looking for a book that will lay flat on it's own. If a Perfect Bound is forced open to lay flat, it likely will break the binding and glue causing the possibility of pages coming out of the book. Should you desire a "Lay Flat" book, Coil Binding would be your best choice.

Coil Binding

Coil Binding allows a lay flat functionallity while still being very functional. A number of holes are punched along the binding edge and a plastic coil is spun into the book and then terminated. Please keep in mind, you will need to allow for 3/8" along the binding edge for the holes, so we do NOT suggest putting text or important graphics in this area as they will be mostly destroyed by the holes.

How To Read Our Quotes!

They are a bit different then everyone elses.

When you request a quote from our website, we ask two questions most other printers don't ask. It's important you answer them correctly as it enables us to provide you an accurate quote. First, we ask "What Zip Code Are These Going To Be Shipped To?", this is important because our system will actually go out and price the shipping options and choose what it best available. Second, we ask "When Will Files Be Ready to Upload?", this is necessary to calculate when we will be able to ship the project out and that controls when they would be delivered to you! Below is a sample quote showing how the pricing results get displayed. You will notice on the left is the "Arrival Date & Time", that is when we can get it delivered to you by (may be earlier). Next column is the "Total Cost", which includes all printing and shipping costs for the selected options with a PDF Proof. On the Right, you will see a button titled "Place Order Now". Select the row's button that best meets your time and budget. That's it!

A number of factors play into the overall quality of your booklet. Paper is a major component in the quality equation. Save a couple of dollars on a cheap #5 grade paper and the best print quality in the world means nothing. The images will bleed through and the paper and the print quality will be poor. We use only high quality papers that are designed for Digital Presses. These papers have been extensively tested to deliver exceptional image quality and adhesion. Also, due to our bulk purchasing power, we get deep discounts from the paper suppliers and pass those savings on to you.
